MAHARISHI OPEN UNIVERSITY COURSES
BEGIN 7 NOVEMBER 1999

It is a great joy to announce details for the Maharishi Open University courses that will be inaugurated on Sunday 7 November. The courses of Maharishi Open University enliven the field of Total Knowledge within the student, transforming consciousness and physiology. Diving deeply into this transforming value of knowledge creates perfection in life.

1. COURSES THAT TRANSFORM LIFE

Certificate of Total Knowledge
This foundation course of Maharishi Open University covers the entire range of Maharishi’s Vedic Science, unfolding the cosmic potential of the student through total brain development. This first course is to gain the fruit of all knowledge--life supported by Natural Law.
Schedule: 6 months, 2 lessons per week, 2 hours each lesson.
Prerequisite: Instruction in Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation Programme.

Creating a Perfect Man *NEW INFORMATION*
Maharishi recently said that this course will support and strengthen the knowledge gained in the Total Knowledge course and will offer practical application of that knowledge. This course will go deeply into the transformation from Veda to the physiology of the individual
and the universe, for the full development of Brahm, Unity Consciousness.
It will be a supreme gift to everyone to hear Maharishi dwell on the finest fibers of the evolutionary processes of creation. Professor Tony Nader, M.D., Ph.D. will be unfolding his new research, conducted under Maharishi’s guidance, on the higher intelligences of the
universe and how they structure the human physiology. The individual gaining this knowledge will grow in the ability to utilize the creative processes of Nature for creating perfection in life. This knowledge will be the materialization of the course title--Creating a
Perfect Man.
Schedule: 6 months, 2 lessons per week, 1.5 hours each lesson.
Prerequisite: Certificate of Total Knowledge course.

Maharishi Sthapatya Veda: Vastu Vidya
Maharishi Sthapatya Veda is the science and technology of creating harmony between different aspects of individual life and between individual life and cosmic life. This course gives the principles and programmes of Vedic Architecture--city planning, country planning and design of homes, offices, and factories according to Natural Law.
Schedule: 2 months, 2 lessons per week, 1.5 hours each lesson.
Prerequisite: Instruction in Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation Programme.

2. NEW FREE PROGRAMME:
WORLD NEWS, KNOWLEDGE, INSPIRATION
Dr. Bevan Morris, International President of Maharishi Universities of Management worldwide, will soon inaugurate a new programme of world news, knowledge and inspiration, entitled “TRANSFORMATION: CREATING A PERFECT WORLD”. This programme will examine world events in the light of the principles of Natural Law, and chronicle how a world of problems and suffering can be transformed through Maharishi’s Vedic Science into a perfect world. This programme will be broadcast free-to-air over the Maharishi Open University satellite system at
convenient times.

3. PERPETUATING MAHARISHI’S KNOWLEDGE OF PERFECTION IN LIFE
Maharishi’s supreme knowledge cultivates the ability to effortlessly engage the infinite organizing power of Natural Law at will. We gain unrestricted progress in all fields of life. Experiencing this, we naturally desire for everyone to have this same experience. It is now possible to fulfill this noble desire through the worldwide network of eight satellites of Maharishi Open University, bringing Maharishi’s knowledge of perfection in life to everyone on earth.

To ensure the perpetuation of this knowledge we need to maintain the satellite broadcasts. In the first year of operation of the University, the tuition revenues were not nearly sufficient to cover
the high costs of the satellites. We want everyone to have the ability to participate in these programmes, and still meet the expenses of this global satellite network, which costs millions of dollars each year.

4. COURSE FEES:
EVERYONE CAN PARTICIPATE THROUGH
FLEXIBLE PAYMENT OPTIONS
A new, flexible fee policy will give the proper value to this knowledge. It will allow everyone to participate, and help meet the costs of delivering these programmes worldwide, thereby perpetuating this knowledge for generations to come.

The new course fees are (in Lebanon Pounds):
Certificate of Total Knowledge: LL 3,000,000
Creating a Perfect Man: LL 3,000,000
Maharishi Sthapatya Veda: LL 1,000,000

FLEXIBLE PAYMENT OPTIONS:
(a) If you have the means, you should make full payment before the first day of the course.

(b) If you have substantial means, we encourage you to contribute generously over and above the course fee. Your contributions are vitally important to maintain the global satellite network for
delivering Maharishi Open University programmes.

(c) If you have difficulty paying the full course fee in advance, you may pay in installments according to your means. It is very important that you make your initial course fee payment before the start of the course. Then begin making installment payments as is convenient for you. With increased support of Nature resulting from these courses, you should easily be able to pay the full course fee over a comfortable period of time.

(d) If you feel you cannot pay the full course fee, you should contribute as much as you can in the direction of the full course fee before the start of the course. Then with the knowledge you receive
and the resulting increased support of Nature, you should be able to make more contributions comfortably.

Everyone is warmly invited to participate fully in the courses and to give as generously as possible to support the satellite network. Just as we would give great value to a diamond, we want to demonstrate our appreciation for this supreme knowledge.

5. ADDITIONAL FINANCE POINTS
*The new course fees are now in effect for all courses.

*If you have already made a course fee payment, you may apply it to any of the above courses. Please fill out a new application.

*In case you decide not to participate in any of the courses for which you have already made a payment, at your written request you will receive a prompt and full refund of your previous course payment.

6. GENERAL INFORMATION
* Smart Cards are not necessary now; we will not be encrypting the Maharishi Open University satellite broadcasts at this time.
*All courses will be inaugurated on Sunday 7 November.
*The broadcast schedule for each course will be available soon.
*If you have applied prior to this announcement, please fill out a new application.
